July 1, 2009 — The day Wanda and I have been anxiously awaiting has finally arrived. After residing with Wanda's son Walter and his wife Sally for the past 16 mos, we are moving into our own 3-bedroom home. Wanda and I cannot thank Walter and Sally for putting up with us these past months. They have been terrific and they have been family!
Wanda has been working hard for the past four days getting our household things in place. She had a plan and has carried it out to a "T." There is no one better than she is at this sort of thing. It could not be more perfect!
Our cat Boots is even looking forward to the move. He is the typical cat...that is thinks he owns the place. We've already introduced him to the new digs. Wanda and I are also in the process of adopting a Golden Retriever puppy from Golden Ribbon Rescue of Central Texas. Here is a picture of the pup we have our eye on

Regardless of the pup we adopt we intend to give her a happy home and healthy life.
